When Molly Gleason saw Bret Maverick ride into town and walk into the Golden Chance Saloon, she asked Jed, a local resident, if Bret was one of the Bar T hands. Jed, a Bar T ranch hand himself,[2] replied that he’d never seen him before.[1]
