Peter Brown is best known for his portrayal of Deputy Johnny McKay from 1958 – 1962 in Lawman.

As a Warner Brothers contract player, Peter performed in many  film and television westerns. In his role as Lawman's Johnny McKay, he appeared in several crossover episodes of other Warner Brothers Television westerns, including Cheyenne, Sugarfoot, Bronco and, of course, Maverick.[1]
