Boarding house owner in White Rock, Texas in 1872.[1] (February 8, 1809 – May 16, 1892)[2]
A no-nonsense woman of regular habits.
On June 12, 1872, she was terse with Bret Maverick for waking her at her boarding house at 10:00 at night. When she learned Bret was looking for Mary Shane, a boarder at Mrs.Clemmer's house, she became concerned and gave him the sad news that Mary had died a week before.[1]
