Regular patron at La Cantina Americana in Tampico, Mexico, in 1877.[1] (October 26, 1827 – January 10, 1897)[2]
In July of 1877,[2] the brace man was in league with the faro dealer at La Cantina Americana playing a rigged game to skim profits off the top of Steve Corbett's operation. After Corbett put Bret Maverick in charge of running the casino's games, the brace man was expelled from the casino and told not to return.[1]
