Dean Fredericks enlisted in the U. S. Cavalry during World War II. He got his start playing heavies in 1952 with the recurring role as Caiaphas in The Living Bible. He later played the regular characters of Kaseem in Jungle Jim from 1955 – 1956 and Komawi in The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin. He may best be remembered for playing the title role in the television series Steve Canyon from 1958 – 1959, but appeared in many television and film roles, often under the screen name of Norman Frederic, until 1965.[1]
