One of four small mine owners in Echo Springs on the same hill as Phineas King’s Silver Lady Mine. Under Bret Maverick’s direction in 1870, Lawson agreed to enter a partnership with the Stoller, Jackson, and Kriedler Mines to form the New Hope Mining Company.[1]
