Jimmy Lydon began his acting career on Broadway in 1937. He got into movies in 1939 and television in 1949. He is best remembered for his role as Henry Aldrich in a series of paramount movies in the 1940s. As he worked more in television, he got into the production side as well, especially as associate producer on 77 Sunset Strip and Mister Roberts. He retired from show business in 1987.[1]
