Butler to the House of Gireaux in Corpus Christi in 1877.[1] (October 26, 1817 – April 25, 1888)[2]
In July of 1877, Philip admitted Steve Corbett, who had followed Amy Lawrence from Tampico, into Roul Gireaux's Corpus Christi residence. Upon Corbett's arrival, Amy Lawrence called him to the top of the stairs. As Corbett climbed the steps, Amy motioned to Philip to call the police.[1]
