Telegrapher for the Brasada Spur in King City,[1] Kansas,[2] in 1872.[1] (April 12, 1809 – December 7, 1884)[2]
In September of 1872, the telegrapher received a message from the Brasada Spur's towerman in Junction City that one of their trains had been commandeered there and was heading south on their tracks, full of men.[1]
