Resident of Little Bend, Texas[1] in 1867.[2]

On the night of August 11, 1867,[2] the townsman arrived at the scene of the gunfight between the Maverick Brothers and Jessie Hayden's gunmen outside the Cattlemen's Hotel. The Tall Man who had witnessed the entire shoot-out was standing over Jett's body as Bret and Bart told the townsman and others their story. When Bret turned to the Tall Man for his corroboration, the Tall Man had disappeared.[1]
