Union Club
Exclusive social club in Chicago in 1872.[1]
In King City,[1] Kansas,[2] in September 14, 1872, Rufus Elgree received a telegram from "Blackburn" inviting him to meet at the Union Club to discuss Brasada Spur stock manipulation. The telegram was a ruse instigated by Bart Maverick to lure Elgree out of King City for several days so Bart and Roy Stafford put a plan into action without his interference.[1]
