Bardette, Trevor
Born November 19, 1902;
Nashville, Arkansas, USA
Died November 28, 1977;
Green Valley, Arizona, USA
Maverick Actor
Born Terva Gaston Hubbard, Bardette originally studied to be a mechanical engineer but entered an acting career on the East Coast stage. After moving to Hollywood in 1937, his stoney, deep-cut features brought him many roles as ruthless, sneaky, double-crossing characters. Appearing in dozens of films from the late 1930s into the early '50s, he also appeared in many more television productions from the 1950s until his retirement in 1970. He is perhaps best known for his recurring role as Old Man Clanton in The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp.[1]
