Rand Brooks began his acting career in film in 1938. He appeared in many movies, both credited and uncredited into the 1960s. In 1950, he also got into television, playing many bit and character parts into the mid-1970s. He had recurring roles in several series, including those of Lucky Jenkins in Hopalong Cassidy, Ranger Andrews in Rocky Jones, Space Ranger, Corporal Brown in Mackenzie's Raiders and Corporal Boone in The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin. In 1966, he started an ambulance service in Glendale, California which became the largest private 911 paramedic provider in Los Angeles County by 1977. [1]
