Carlos

A loyal employee to Steve Corbett.[1]

In June of 1877, Carlos had to tell cantina patrons that Corbett only drank at his own table and not with customers, unless he invited them to sit with him. In July, Carlos served Bret Maverick breakfast at the cantina when Corbett hired Bret as a blackjack dealer to replace Paul Brooks. The morning Corbett was packing to leave Tampico to follow Amy Lawrence to Corpus Christi, Carlos pleaded with Bret to stop him from leaving.[1]
