Medical doctor in Salt Lake City, Utah Territory,[1] in 1876. (November 16, 1811 – May 21, 1881)[2]
On July 4, 1876, Bart Maverick was knocked unconscious by a Stuart Machine thug when he found Charles W. Farfan murdered in his Capital City Hotel room. When he came to, Bart found the doctor, marshal and hotel clerk at his bedside. The doctor believed Bart could be suffering from concussion and advised rest.[1]
