Gireaux, Victor
Master silversmith for the House of Gireaux in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1876.[1] (October 26, 1843 – March 26, 1876)[2]
Son to Roul Gireaux, younger brother to Rene Gireaux and husband to Amy Lawrence.[1]
In March of 1876, Gireaux was working alone late in the House of Gireaux's forge when he caught Steve Corbett stealing a large amount of the workshop's silver. Gireaux tried to stop him, but Corbett shot and killed him and escaped with the silver.[1]
