The Hotel Hallelujah also served as a stage stop in Hallelujah[1] along the Santa Fe Trail.[2]
In September of 1876, Molly Sharp arrived in Hallelujah by stage and was met by curious townsfolk as she disembarked and claimed to be Bret Maverick's widow.[1] She stayed at the hotel overnight[2] and left on the southbound stage for Santa Fe[1] the next day.[2]
