John Hubbard began in musicals and Hal Roach comedies before briefly becoming a minor leading man during the war years. Following military service he was relegated to support roles and bits. He was known for "The Mummy's Tomb" (1942), "You'll Never Get Rich" (1941) and "Don't Call Me Charlie" (1962).[1]
