Rio Chama
A major tributary of the Rio Grande. With it's headwaters just north of the border of Colorado Territory with New Mexico Territory, the Rio Chama flows south and east for thirty-four miles to the Rio Grande.[1]

The Jeweled Gun: In April of 1876,[3] Bret and Bart Maverick rode along the Rio Chama from the Colorado Territory into New Mexico Territory to the Rio Grande.[4]
