Tony Romano was born into a musical family of Italian immigrants. Tony's father taught Romano violin and guitar, and the family often played music together. He got his start in show business in San Francisco on the popular Al Pearce Happy Go Lucky Hour. He went on to become one of the original four members of Bob Hope's famous USO show during World War II.[1]
