stagecoach driver

Stagecoach driver[1] in Utah Territory,[2] in 1876.[1] (January 20, 1831January 24, 1888)[2]

On July 5, 1876, the driver picked up Quincy Bigelow[1] in Salt Lake City.[2] As the stage drove out of town, Bart Maverick spotted Bigelow hiding in the stage. Bart and Janet Kilmer borrowed Judge Somervell's carriage and chased the stage into the countryside. When they caught up to the stage, they found the stage empty. The driver told Bart Bigelow had gotten out back at the Old Wagon Road and headed north on foot.[1]
