Western Union telegrapher in Echo Springs,[1] Utah Territory[2] in 1870.[1] (October 9, 1814 – December 8, 1898)[2]

Enjoyed reading at work between sending and receiving telegraph messages. He received the message from Richard Bixby to Phineas King, informing King of that the higher court in Salt Lake City had overturned Judge Joshua Thayer’s decision in his suit against the New Hope Mining Company.[1]
