Angry poker players
Bret Maverick was chased by a group of angry poker players across the countryside of the Wyoming Territory. At first, we see four men chasing Bret, but when the final showdown occurs, there are only three. Perhaps while Bret was trying to get away, he managed to shoot one out of the saddle when we weren't looking.[1]
One gun or two?
When one of the angry poker players' shots throws Bret Maverick out of his saddle, he also drops the gun with which he was defending himself. But immediately upon getting up off the ground, his gun is still in its holster. If Bret had a second gun before he dropped it, he did not have a holster for it.[1]
White hat or black?
When Bret Maverick falls off his horse, he's seen wearing a white hat, but as he jumps up, he is holding his black hat in his hand, puts it on while running for cover and draws his gun.[1]
